Roxbury Holiness Camp 2015: Transformational Homes

During the week of August 2-7, my husband Luke and I were able to present a seminar for attendees at Roxbury Holiness Camp in Pennsylvania.

Camp-Mtg-2015-11The theme for the week was “Transformed” and we focused on Transformational Homes, founded on holy marriages, built with discipleship and intentionality in parenting, and completed with a purposeful living of life together that welcomes Jesus into the everyday.

We had a wonderful time with each session and all of the conversations, prayer, and discussions before and after.  Below you will find links to notes for each of our sessions as well as our resources and research.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at christina.m.embree@gmail.com.

God has established the home and family as the primary place for faith to be passed from one generation to another.  This workshop focused on ways that God sanctions and equips us for this high calling.
Strong marriages provide foundations for strong homes. When we nurture the relationship with our spouse, we can transform our home from the top down. Whether you’ve been married for years just starting out, or plan to be married one day, this workshop was a chance to explore practical ways to keep Christ at the very center of your relationship.
The call for parents to “impress” on their children the heart of God gives the unique opportunity for us to “make disciples” at home.  Discover four simple moments where you can bring the faith alive every single day.
Living life together brings times of great joy and times of intense struggle. Experiencing Christ together in all of those moments will lead to a faith that “sticks.” This session focused on tangible ways that your family can share in faith formation together.

The books we used in our sessions and had available to view are available under our Resources for Parents and Resources for Ministers “Books” tab or by clicking each link.
